One piece of lettuce and a 1/2 tomato and it quit working after 30 seconds.
The plastic top is so fragile that the chute fractured while processing the second carrot. Otherwise it could be a good appliance.
Very cheaply made... Do Not Buy...I had this juicer for about a week. It worked fine during that week, then the motor suddenly burned out.
I got this juicer and turned it on and within 10 seconds of being on it shut off and would not turn back on again after that.
I would spend about $10 for this if I needed something to take on vacation with since you'll save a ton of cash from buying bottled juices.
As a first time juicer this works quite well, but as I mentioned above you'll probably need to get a citrus juicer to supplement this machine.
This juicer is perfect, starting with the price. It's smaller than all the other ones I have seen, easy to assemble and disassemble, easy to clean and to juice.
Carrots are one of the harder textured food to juice. This machine was so quick and powerful I couldn't believe it, it took seconds!!!! I can't attest to whether it will continue to work, but for function and ease of use you can't beat it.
The problem with my juicer is that it leaks a lot on the space between the juicer and the juice container. Also, you still can extract a lot of juice from the left over pulp.
Rather a mess to clean AND I couldn't get it cleaned to my satisfaction either. I does work, and quickly, and the price is right. Nice small footprint too, compared to my old monster. But I returned it, and am still looking.
