This is a great blender for the price. The shape of the glass container draws the liquids down to produce an even blend. Great for making icy drinks.
I've had this a couple weeks now, and have used it to make smoothies, with bananas, protein powder, frozen berries, etc. It works great and the wave action really does work and mixes everything up very well.
I primarily use it to make shakes with ice and it works just fine. I haven't had it long so I don't know how long it will last but a decent buy for the money so far.
it is a decent blender for its price, but making a mixed fruit shake is a little bothersome- you still find small pieces in the juice. also the 'wave maker' feature prevents a paste from turning and mixing well.
Can not beat the ease of use and cleanability for this price.
